For over three decades, GWWO Architects has been at the forefront of designing inspiring cultural and educational buildings, earning awards for design excellence and sustainability. Some notable projects include the Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention, the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center, and the Pikes Peak Summit Visitor Center.

Bob Mock, an Architect at GWWO with over 20 years of experience, was drawn to the profession through his love of drawing and solving problems. This foundation extends to his role as an architect at GWWO, where he also manages the firm’s technology needs. A self-described tinkerer who enjoys using technology to create more efficient workflows, Mock explained that “often, the reality of being an architect is lots and lots of emails, contracts, and paperwork.”

The Journey to Efficiency

The challenge of an inbox cluttered with emails and extensive paperwork led GWWO to seek a more effective solution for their project management needs, leading them to TonicDM.

“The previous software that we used was clumsy, hard to use, and not cost-effective. What drew us to TonicDM was not just their user-friendly platform but their readiness to engage creatively with a mid-sized firm like ours,” explains Mock. This partnership has been crucial for GWWO as it aligns with its innovation and customer service values.

Empowering Design Through Enhanced Workflows

GWWO uses TonicDM for email filing, design-side coordination, and tracking of their Construction Administration (CA) workflows. “It’s critical to our business that we are efficient in managing our fees. Using TonicDM, I can see what’s due today versus what can wait, and as a result, stay organized,” says Mock.

Thanks to efficiency, GWWO's team can spend more time on design. As Mock explains, “The key to producing great designs is to be efficient in non-design workflows. By avoiding getting bogged down and not wasting time on inefficient tasks, we can dedicate our time and efforts to working on designs that inspire us.”
